Willie Negroni
Senior Vice President of Supplier RelationsWillie Negroni is Senior Vice President of Supplier Relations at Wilbur-Ellis and responsible for the development and execution of the company’s crop protection and fertility strategy, optimizing the company’s portfolio for maximum profitable growth.
Negroni began his ag career as a sales agronomist in 1999, joining Wilbur-Ellis originally in 2005. He furthered his ag experience as a farm manager at a large vegetable grower before returning to Wilbur-Ellis as the Branch Manager of the Yuma, Arizona, location, and was soon promoted to Area Manager for the Southwest region, where he served for nearly 10 years. In 2018, he became the Director of Sales for the Western South District before being elevated to Senior Vice President. Throughout his 25-year career, Negroni has constantly evolved to meet the changes and needs of the ag retail and wholesale business, and in 2022, was a key leader who helped launch CropSights, a Wilbur-Ellis digital insights platform for growers.
A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Negroni earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science and management in 1998. As a lifelong learner, he is focused on continuous learning and staying ahead of the industry and the latest technological innovations and advancements.
Negroni serves on the Tenkoz Board of Directors and was a member of the Arizona Crop Protection Association Board and the Western Plant Health Association Board. He is a dedicated and long-time member of the California Association of Pest Control Advisors and is a licensed agriculture pest advisor in California and Arizona. Negroni served on the Yuma County Farm Bureau for several years, and from 2014 – 2015 he was President of the Yuma County Fair.
When he is away from the office, Negroni enjoys the great outdoors with his wife of 25 years, Melanie, and their two college-aged children.
