Wilbur-Ellis’ Feed division donated $2,150 to Silver Buckle Ranch to assist in sponsoring one teen for a six-week long Teen Wrangler course, grounds maintenance around the ranch and aid in the purchase of a newer tractor to replace the existing 1964 model. Located about 14 miles north of Vancouver, Washington, in the Bush Prairie community, Silver Buckle Ranch has played a positive role in the community over the last 41 years. The organization aims to impact lives through equine-related activities. It partners with Clark County Juvenile Restorative Justice, as well as many counseling and community service providers, to deliver a unique opportunity for youth to experience what horses can teach humans.
