Connell Brothers projects strong growth in personal care market in Asia over the next several years
SAN FRANCISCO – April 08, 2013 – Connell Brothers, marketer and distributor of personal care and cosmeceutical ingredients in Asia-Pacific, has partnered with Ganeden Biotech, a recognized world leader in the manufacturing and marketing of probiotics, to distribute a natural, topical probiotic-derived anti-aging ingredient, Bonicel.
Studies conducted by Ganeden Biotech have shown that Bonicel improves the appearance of skin hydration, elasticity, under eye puffiness and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and redness in humans. Bonicel will be available to Connell Brothers’ personal care customers in its locations across Asia-Pacific.

Bonicel can be used in lotions, creams, gels, powders, scrubs, masks and cleansers. Unlike most probiotic ingredients used in topical formulations, including Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, Bonicel, which is naturally derived from the well-documented probiotic strain GanedenBC30® (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086), is easy to include in formulations. Bonicel is produced naturally during the fermentation process of GanedenBC30, the company’s proprietary probiotic strain. Ganeden utilizes proprietary processes to optimize the metabolic activity of the fermenting organism producing maximum amounts of naturally derived L+ Lactic acid, bacteriocins, enzymes and other metabolites.
