Acquisition Solidifies Company’s Commitment to Personal and Home Care Markets in Asia-Pacific
Hong Kong - Nov. 4, 2014 – Connell Brothers (CBC), a division of Wilbur-Ellis Company and the largest marketer and distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients in Asia-Pacific, announced that it has acquired the operations of Bioworld Fine Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a distribution company dedicated to personal and home care ingredients in China, with rich experiences and knowledge in marketing high-end botanical oils and plant extracts.
The new addition is expected to increase CBC’s penetration in the skincare, hair care, color cosmetics, as well as household care markets, by complementing the current product portfolio of CBC.
