A Message From CEO John Buckley
Celebrating our 100th anniversary is a big moment for the company and its employees. It’s also an opportunity to thank all the people who’ve taken this incredible journey with us – our customers, suppliers, business partners, Board of Directors and, certainly, the extended Wilbur family. Your support has brought us to this milestone.
At Wilbur-Ellis, we often say: “we’re proud of our history, but never stop looking ahead.” Over the past year, as we’ve reflected on our history, we’ve seen tremendous continuity between the past and how we operate today.
On our 100th anniversary website, we’ve read stories about the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of Wilbur-Ellis people. Those qualities enabled us to overcome the challenges and capture the opportunities of the past 100 years. We recalled moments when our values – especially our commitment to integrity – guided difficult business decisions, just as they do today. And most of all, throughout our history, there has been a clear recognition that the strength of our business is Wilbur-Ellis people.
As we embark on the next 100 years, we’re building on a strong foundation and I couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds.
